PDFPen Gets Bates Stamping

I’m old enough to remember bates stamping pages with an actual Bates Stamp. PDFPen now adds this feature striking one more reason off the list as to why you’d need to spend $450 for Adobe Acrobat.

How customizable is the numbering format? From the screenshot it looks like a dropdown list, which I presume means the user cannot include a custom prefix before the number? If so, that's a disappointing design choice.
