Using iPhone with MacSpeech Scribe

I’m a fan of MacSpeech Scribe. Ernie the Attorney discovered a fantastic iPhone app, Dictamus that automatically saves your recording to Dropbox where you can fetch it on your Mac and transcribe it with Scribe.

I recorded a 7-minute file on my iPhone (first gen.) using Apple's Voice Memos and synced it into iTunes. I selected that file for my Scribe training, but got an error message that the sampling rate was too low, that it needed to be at least 11.025 something-or-other.

Macspeech's add explicitly says you can record files using a Mac, an iPhone or a digital recorder.
I think I should use it.
