Scripting for Lawyers

Scripting for Lawyers.jpg

Today I stumbled upon a site that seems custom built for me. Larry Staton, a Charlotte attorney, has built a site all about automating your Mac for legal work called, appropriately, Scripting for Lawyers. The site has lots of interesting tips and tricks and most of it can apply to anybody interested in automating their Mac so head on over and check it out.

Great find, my friend! I will pass this one along to my co-workers. One of whom recently made the switch! There are three of us in the office now. Only about six to go!

I am a complete neophyte with Applescript. And, frankly, I do not have the time to learn it.

I just watched the Timeline screencast on his site. I would LOVE to have that script. I wish it were built into Timeline.

David: Do you use this script? Might you share it with me? I would not even know how to invoke it from within Timeline. But those are steps I bet even I can learn.

Larry has been wowing us on the Mac lawyer listserves with his tales of daring scripting for a while now. I'm glad he has taken on the burden of spelling out exactly how he does his scripting magic.
