Easy Email on the iPhone

easyemail3.png

How did I miss this? Easy Email is a free iPhone/iPod Touch application that allows you to write emails using the keyboard in landscape mode. If that isn't enough, you can use a set of canned pre written phrases or add your own. Very handy.

Hey you might want to take a look at easywriter as it allows you to type in Potrait and in Landscape but also which ever orientation you turn the iPhone EasyWriter goes and allows you to type in that orientation. Although Easy mail has a few more font options I think.

Nice.
If we could have it work on text messaging too then it would be fabulous.

Well, I like Sideways, myself. The developer is great and plans big improvements along the way.

In any event, this app has saved my bacon recently. I was filing a pleading in my state Supreme Court and needed to send an emergency email to opposing counsel. Had I used the regular, portrait orientation, iphone email, it would have taken forever trying to get it to look professional (sans typos). But with Sideways, I made no mistakes, hit "send" in record time, and filed my pleading!

this is a much better way to write emails. it needs an import and a copy and paste function to turn it into a mini word processor. now that would be great!
